Privacy policy
Last updated: October 20, 2026
This policy explains what information Armen's Travel (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit this website, how it’s used, and the choices you have. We keep it simple: we don’t sell your information, we don’t run ads, and you don’t need an account to use the site.
Information we collect
Information you send us. If you email us (for example, to get your business featured), we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply and to handle your request.
Information collected automatically. Like almost every website, our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically records basic technical data when you load a page, such as your IP address, browser type, the page you asked for and the time. This is used to deliver the site, keep it secure and fix problems.
Accessibility settings. If you use the accessibility button, your choices (such as bigger text or high contrast) are saved in your own browser’s local storage so they stay on when you come back. This information never leaves your device and we can’t see it. You can clear it with “Reset all” or by clearing your browser data.
Third-party services on this site
Some parts of the site load content from other companies, which may receive your IP address and browser information when that happens:
- YouTube (Google) for embedded videos. We use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode, which doesn’t store YouTube cookies until you play a video.
- Google Fonts for the lettering on the site.
- Google Maps, Booking.com, Airbnb, Expedia, Atlas Obscura, Wikivoyage, the U.S. State Department and business websites, but only when you click one of those links. Once you leave our site, that site’s own privacy policy applies.
We don’t currently use analytics or advertising trackers. If that changes, we’ll update this page first.
How we use information
We use information only to run and improve the website, answer your messages, and protect the site from abuse. We don’t sell or rent personal information, and we don’t share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep emails for as long as needed to respond and follow up, then delete them. Hosting logs are kept by Vercel for a limited period under their own policies.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including California under the CCPA/CPRA, you may have the right to know what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and opt out of its sale or sharing (we don’t sell or share it). To make a request, email hello@example.com. We won’t treat you differently for using these rights.
Children
This site is meant for a general audience and isn’t directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here and update the date at the top.
