Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to enjoy Armen's Travel, including people who are blind or have low vision, color blindness, dyslexia, or motor or hearing disabilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA.
Accessibility button
Look for the round blue button with the person icon in the bottom-left corner of every page. It lets you:
- Make text bigger, up to 150%.
- Turn on high contrast: black text on white, with bright yellow buttons.
- Switch to an easy-to-read font (Atkinson Hyperlegible, designed for readers with low vision) with extra spacing.
- Underline every link so links don’t rely on color.
- Stop all animations.
Your choices are remembered on your device. Press Escape to close the panel.
What else we do
- A “Skip to main content” link for keyboard and screen reader users.
- Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a clear focus outline.
- Images have text descriptions, and headings and landmarks are structured for screen readers.
- The site follows your device’s settings for reduced motion and dark mode, and works with browser zoom up to 400%.
- Links that open a new tab say so to screen readers.
Videos
Videos are hosted on YouTube, which offers captions. Use the CC button in the video player to turn them on.
